2. What Data We Collect

We only collect personal data that you provide directly to us. This includes:

  • Name — when you fill out our contact form or Facebook lead form
  • Email address — to respond to your enquiry
  • Phone number — if you choose to provide it
  • Business details — such as the type of business you run, if you include this in your message

We do not use website analytics software, advertising tracking pixels, or cookies beyond what your browser sets by default. We do not collect any data automatically through our website.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data only to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or consultation request
  • Discuss and deliver the services you have asked about
  • Follow up on previous conversations at your request

We will never use your data for unsolicited marketing, sell it to third parties, or share it with anyone outside of what is necessary to deliver your project.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your personal data on the following lawful bases:

  • Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries you have sent us
  • Contract — to deliver services you have engaged us for
  • Consent — where you have explicitly agreed, such as through a lead form

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data on our behalf:

  • Formspree — our website contact form is processed by Formspree (formspree.io). When you submit the contact form, your name, email, and message are sent to and stored by Formspree before being forwarded to us. View their privacy policy at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
  • Google Fonts — our website loads fonts from Google's servers. This may result in your browser's IP address being sent to Google. View Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Meta (Facebook) — if you submit a lead form through our Facebook or Instagram ads, your data is initially collected by Meta and shared with us. View Meta's data policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry or deliver your project. If you do not become a client, we will delete your contact details within 12 months of your last communication with us. If you are a client, we retain relevant records for up to 6 years in line with standard Irish business and tax obligations.

7. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a person whose data we hold, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to us processing your data on the basis of legitimate interests

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info.lynchdigital@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
